Safeguarding

Safeguarding is protecting the health, wellbeing and human rights of vulnerable people at risk, enabling them to live safely, free from abuse and neglect. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility.

Safeguarding is about vulnerable people and organisations working together to prevent and reduce both the risks and experience of abuse or neglect. It also means making sure that our service users’ wellbeing is supported and their views, wishes, feelings, and beliefs are respected when agreeing on any action.

Innovative Start is committed to protecting vulnerable adults and young people at risk of abuse. We acknowledge that we have a duty of care to our service users, which extends to both individuals living in a residential setting managed by Innovative Start, and also to individuals living in their own homes who receive support.
